Recycled Plants (Volunteers of America from my Backyard)

For many years and many gardeners, We have faithfully pulled all of the "volunteers" and weeds from our yard, but as our children grew up and became vegans and green, We started to look at yard in a different perspective. Most of the volunteers might have value to someone else, and if we could pot them and raise them with little or no expense but sweat, We thought we should try. And, if we sold any we could use the money for green projects around the house.

Additionally, we are just old enough to remember the end of the pioneer generation as a child. Often, they brought seeds or cuttings with them, and we passed them around from yard to yard and generation to generation. They used to love to go Luther Burbank's home and marvel with improvements he made, but they still had their favorites which they kept propagating. So, we started replanting seeds from Avocados and peaches, etc. They take at least five years to fruit, and you definitely can get "unreliable and unpredictable" results. But, that is half the fun, if you are adventuress, have time and space , grow a unique tree or not so unique of a tree as the case maybe.

We are not experts on propagation, or plants. We just put them in and see if they grow. If we make any mistakes and you want to correct us, just send me an email or use the question/response from for questions, corrections, requests or ideas.

We can not ship the plants so they are available only for pick up in Riverside, CA.
